Moving On….

My hubby’s never been one to overanalyze anything.  Just tell him what he needs to know, not some long drawn out story.  Case in point: I tried to show him my FF chart a few weeks ago, and he glanced at it and said, “What’s all those dots for?”  I went into temping, how they rise/fall, and he got a empty look on his face.  His response? “Just tell me when you have an egg in there and I’ll do the rest.” If it was only that easy.

I mentioned to hubby last night about what Dr. Edward told me yesterday, and I was a little nervous about how he would respond.  When I first came off of BC, we took a wait-and-see approach…..if it happened, great! If not, no biggie.  He thought it was so cool that you could see on an ultrasound if you have any “ripe eggs”.  He asked if there could be two or three.  He asked if he was guaranteed sex afterwards.  He asked if he could stick me in the butt with the shot that would trigger.  =)

Some people might think he’s a little insensitive, or sarcastic, but you’d have to meet my hubby to understand.  He’s anything but – although he is clueless about anything medical related.  He’s a minimalist – just give him the basics, and that’s all he needs.  So, this is a huge step for him.

On a more depressing note, I’ve started spotting today, so I’m fully expecting AF to rear her ugly redheaded self later on today.  So I’ve given up on this cycle, and am ready to move on to bigger and better things.
